The petitioner has a grievance that though his land has been acquired for the use and benefit of the National Thermal Power Corporation, Kanti, he has not been paid compensation against such acquisition of land.

There is a statement made in paragraph 9 of the writ application that the said land has been acquired under the Bihar Raiyati Lease Policy, 2014 and cheques were prepared in favour of the petitioner in the months of June, 2018 and November,

Patna High Court CWJC No.3399 of 2019(2) dt.22-02-2019 2/2 2018.

In my view, if the petitioner is not being paid the amount, which he is lawfully entitled to under the Scheme of the State of Bihar, as noted above, he can approach the District Public Grievance Redressal Officer, under the Bihar Public Grievance Redressal Act, 2015, by making an application. It goes without saying that if any such application is made, the Authority shall be obliged to dispose of the same within the time limit, as prescribed under the Act. This writ application stands disposed of accordingly. (Chakradhari Sharan Singh, J) HR/- U
