Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned APP for the State.

The petitioners apprehend their arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 341, 323 and 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, registered in connection with Maniyari P.S.Case No. 276 of 2021.

As per allegation, the accused persons subjected the informant to atrocities for non-fulfilment of demand of dowry of

No.8259 of 2022(2) dt.05-09-2022 2/2 rupees five lakhs cash and a Bullet motor-cycle etc. The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that petitioner no.1 is bhainsur and petitioner no.2 is mother-inlaw of the informant. They have no concern with day-to-day affairs of the couple and they live separately from the husband of the informant.

Considering the above facts and circumstances, let the petitioners above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender within four weeks from the date of communication of this order, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) each, with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, West Muzaffarpur in connection with Maniyari P.S.Case No. 276 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr. P.C. Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioners within the stipulated time as provided hereinabove, failing which the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
