The petitioner is in custody in connection with Excise Complaint Case No. 147 of 2019, for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 19.12.2019. He further submits that in the instant case total 43.300 litres of country made liquor was seized. Considering the fact that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to him. The petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail
