JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 18-11-2022 The present petition has been filed seeking the following relief :- "(i) For issuance of writ/writs, order/orders, direction/ directions to the respondents to remove the encroachment under the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act from Khata no. 2460, Plot nos. 960, 961, 959, 971, 996, 918, 6869, 6870 situated in Mauza Bokhra, PS-Nanpur, Thana no. 219, District- Sitamarhi which is government land and is being used as passage by the petitioners and villagers which has been illegally encroached by the encroachers. "

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners

Patna High Court CWJC No.2529 of 2022(2) dt.18-11-2022 2/2 seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the Circle Officer, Bokhara Circle, District- Sitamarhi for redressal of his aforesaid grievance. Liberty so sought, is granted. It is needless to state that in case, the petitioners approach the Circle Officer, Bokhara Circle, District- Sitamarhi by filing appropriate petition under the provisions of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956, within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and after hearing the affected parties, appropriate orders shall be passed thereon, forthwith.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
