1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 409 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and the informant alleges that an amount of Rs.10,64,800/- was credited in the account of the petitioner who was the then President of Ward No. 13 under the Chief Minister Nal Jal Yojana but petitioner worked only for an amount of Rs.4,95,000/- and misappropriated rest of the amount.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the instant case by the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9771 of 2026(2) dt.04-05-2026 2/2 informant. It is further submitted that the FIR came to be instituted in haste without verifying the work done by the petitioner under the aforesaid scheme. It is next submtited that petitioner is in custody since 17.10.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court where the case is pending in connection with Dharhara P.S. Case No. 92 of 2022.
