1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) To issue appropriate order/orders, direction/ directions, writ/writs, preferably in the nature of certiorari, for setting-aside the order dated 25.05.2018/11.07.2018 passed by the Principal Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Government of Bihar, Patna in Appeal Case No.01/2018, communicated vide letter No.191 dated

Patna High Court CWJC No.3674 of 2024(2) dt.14-03-2024 2/2 25.09.2018, whereby and where-under appeal/ representation submitted by the petitioners in pursuant to order dated 19.05.2017 passed by this Hon'ble Court in C.W.J.C. No.14409/2011, has illegally been rejected, without considering the claim of the petitioners for their appointment as Farmer Advisor (Kisan Salahkar) under general category in the district-Araria.

(ii) To issue a writ of mandamus, commanding and directing the Respondent authority concerned to appoint the petitioners as Farmer Advisor (Kisan Salahkar) under general category in the districtAraria, for which petitioners are suitable and deserving candidates under general category having the requisite qualification."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of their subsisting grievances, if any. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
