The petitioner, one of the aspirants of the Anganbadi Sevika/Shahyika in Ward no.4, Centre no.246, Chaufulla Panchayat under Chakai Block within the district of Jamui, is aggrieved with the inaction of the respondent(s) in not concluding the selection process pertaining to advertisement published on 05.09.2019, till date.

3. Notwithstanding the fact that the advertisement was issued long back in the year 2019, till date no Anganbadi Sevika/Shahyika has been selected and the entire Tola, especially, the children are deprived from the welfare scheme(s) of the State Government.

4. Mr. Anirban Kundu, learned Advocate for the State submitted that the matter is of 2019 and to respond in the matter, instruction(s) is required from the concerned officers.

5. Having considered the nature of the grievance which is only confined to the completion of the selection process of Anganbadi Sevika/Shahyika in terms of the advertisement dated 05.09.2019, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose off the writ petition with a direction to the petitioner to file a representation bringing the present position to the knowledge of the Principal Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Government of Bihar, preferably within a period of four weeks from today.

6. In case, such a representation is filed, the Principal Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Government of Bihar, shall look into the matter and issue necessary directives to conclude the selection process, if the same has not been done till date.

7. The writ petition stands disposed off.
