2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Goraul P.S. Case No. 166 of 2024 registered for the offence under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of committing rape upon the victim.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 4.5.2024 and the case has been committed to the Court of Sessions.

5. Considering the serious allegations levelled against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

7. The trial is directed to be expedited and be concluded at the earliest.
