2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sheohar P.S. Case No. 277 of 2015 instituted for the offences punishable under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, accused persons demanded extortion money from the employee of the company namely Sandeep Dey for the work awarded to the Goderaj Company.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence and has falsely been implicated in this case. He submits that the petitioner is not named in the FIR and the name of the petitioner has been surfaced in this case only on the basis of confessional

He further submits that except the confessional statement nothing has come during the investigation. He lastly submits that there is no material on record against the petitioner to connect in this case due to criminal history and nothing else. Petitioner is in custody since 02.03.2022.
5. Learned APP opposes the prayer for bail.
6. From perusal of the FIR and impugned order of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Sheohar, Bihar dated 04.01.2025, it appears that petitioner is not named in the FIR. From perusal of the records, it appears that on the basis of written report of the informant, FIR has been lodged under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code against unknown persons. The extortion money was made by mobile number 8173078071. During the course of investigation the said mobile number belongs to Mukesh Pathak and Mukesh Pathak has already been granted bail by a Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 75005 of 2022 vide order dated 25.01.2023, so considering all these aspects of the matter, I am inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
7. Accordingly the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. Let the petitioner above named be released on bail on
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11757 of 2025(3) dt.13-05-2025 3/3 furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sheohar in connection with Sheohar P.S. Case No. 277 of 2015.
