JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 06-02-2020 Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Ballia P.S. Case No. 331 of 2019 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Section(s) 414/413/420/467/468/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Police got an information of hiding of petitioner, who was accused in another case, in the house of his sister. When the house was raided, petitioner tried to run away by climbing the wall but was caught by the police and one stolen motorcycle and 3 mobiles were recovered from his him. Apart from that he is accused in 5 other cases which appears from Para 3 of this petition.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that whole prosecution story is false and the recovery of motorcycle is also doubtful. He has been made accused at the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6996 of 2020(2) dt.06-02-2020 2/2 instance of the police. He is in custody for more than 4 months. Heard learned A.P.P. who has opposed the prayer for bail.

Having heard both sides, considering the allegation as well as the antecedent, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected.
