Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 420, 467,468,471 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, petitioners presented forged challan before the authorities regarding deposit of fine amount.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that as a matter of fact petitioner no.1 deposited the fine amount through e-challan no. GRN BHR 20220700773830M dated 27.7.2022 issued by the Dist Mining Office, Saran at Chapra and not the challan which was annexed with the FIR. He

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9964 of 2023(2) dt.25-04-2023 2/2 submits that the said challan was considered by the Court below while issuing release order of the vehicle. Petitioners claim clean antecedent.

Considering the aforesaid facts of the case, prayer for bail of all the petitioners is allowed. In the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks from today, let these petitioners, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate I, Saran at Chapra in Revilganj Police Station Case No. 237 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
