The counsel for the petitioner submits that the cost of the work was Rs.4,44,995/- and against that, the payment has been made of Rs.2,37,359/- and the rest amount of Rs.2,03,051/- is still due against the respondent.

Let the petitioner file a detailed representation before the Engineer-in-Chief-cum-Additional Commissioner-cumSpecial Secretary, Building Construction Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, who will be obliged to hold an enquiry and if he arrives to a conclusion that the petitioner is entitled to the aforesaid amount, the same should be paid to him within a period of three months from the date of filing of the representation.
With the above observation/direction, this petition is disposed of.
