JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR) Date : 02-03-2022 Heard Mr. Rajesh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Upendra Pratap Singh for the State. An advertisement was issued for filling up 17 vacant positions for public distribution shops in the district of Patna. The petitioner also was one of the applicants but her application has been rejected only on the ground that the certificate of economically backward-class was issued in her favour only after the last date of filling up of the application forms.

We, therefore, direct the petitioner to make a suitable representation before the District Magistrate, Patna in that regard within a period of thirty days and the concerned respondent shall look into the matter and take necessary decision with respect to the petitioner and shall communicate it to her as soon as possible. While saying so, this Court has taken note of the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the vacant positions have yet not been filled up against the aforesaid advertisement.

With the aforementioned observation and direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
