====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 29-04-2024 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 66/66(E)/67(A) of the Information Technology Act.

3. It is alleged that the petitioner made video of the informant while she was bathing and after five months, he started demanding Rs. 2 lacs from the informant. It is further alleged that the petitioner threatened the informant to make her video viral and kill her if is she did not pay the amount.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. As a matter of fact, both parties are co-villagers and due to dispute regarding the pathway, this false and concocted case has been lodged

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14294 of 2024(3) dt.29-04-2024 2/2 against the petitioner. He further submits that prior to the present case, father of the petitioner has filed a Sanha vide No. 1588 of 2023 against the informant and others. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in connection with Azam Nagar (Salmari O.P.) P. S. Case No. 234 of 2023, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
