====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 24-06-2020 Due to COVID-19 Pandemic, the matter is being taken up by way of virtual Court proceeding.
The matter has been listed under the heading 'For Orders' under the orders of Hon'ble the Chief Justice. Heard learned counsels for the parties.
The following reliefs have been sought for on behalf of the petitioner in the present writ application. "1. (I) For issuance of a writ of or in the nature of writ of Mandamus directing the Sr.
Divisional Commissioner/RPF Eastern Railway, Howrah (1) for payment of Family
Patna High Court CWJC No.16802 of 2017(3) dt.24-06-2020 2/3 Pension to the youngest son of Late Achutanand Sharma, which has not attained the age of maturity as well as other retiral dues of his Late father, till attaining the age of maturity.
(ii) For issuance of a writ of or in the nature of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents concerned to dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner before the authority concerned dated 08.07.17.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner may be granted liberty to make/file a representation before the respondent no. 2 i.e., the Senior Divisional Security Commissioner, R.P.F., Eastern Railway, Howrah, for redressal of his grievance as raised in the present writ application.
Considering the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, the petitioner is granted liberty to make/file a representation before the respondent no. 2 i.e., the Senior Divisional Security Commissioner, R.P.F., Eastern Railway, Howrah, for redressal of his grievance.
In case, any such representation is made/filed by the petitioner before the respondent no. 2, the respondent no. 2 i.e., the Senior Divisional Security Commissioner, R.P.F., Eastern Railway, Howrah, shall consider the representation of the petitioner and pass an appropriate order, in accordance with law,
Patna High Court CWJC No.16802 of 2017(3) dt.24-06-2020 3/3 within a period of four months, from the date of filing/making of such representation.
With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
