2. The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to grant service promotion of the petitioners from Group D to Group C in the light of notification of the Government vide Memo No.4009 dated 24.05.2013.

3. It transpires from the pleadings that the petitioners have come before this Hon'ble Court for filing representation before the appropriate authorities.

4. Counsel for the petitioners submits that respondent

Patna High Court CWJC No.4704 of 2020(2) dt.28-03-2024 2/2 No.2 is the appropriate authority.

5. As such, this Court without entering into the merit or demerit of this case, hereby disposed off the present writ petition, directing the petitioners to file their representation before the respondent No.2 within four weeks from today and respondent No.2 is directed to pass a reasoned and speaking order on the representation of the petitioners within 90 days thereafter. Since general election of Lok Sabha, 2024 has been notified, therefore, 90 days shall be counted after end of the election.

6. With the aforesaid direction, the present writ application is hereby disposed off.
