2. The present petition has been preferred for the grant of following relief(s):

"for grant of compensation along with statutory interest in connection with Land Acquisition Case No.37/269 of 1957-58 to the petitioner with regard to acquisition of 6.98 Acres of land of the petitioner's predecessor in interest by the State of Bihar for the purposes of

Patna High Court CWJC No.16655 of 2016(3) dt.02-09-2025 2/2 multiplication of seed. Alternatively the claim of petitioner falls within "The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013" as admittedly the amount of compensation has not been paid till date."

3. After some arguments, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner submits that he shall be approaching the respondent no.3, the District Land Acquisition Officer, Purnea for the redressal of the grievance.
