The petitioner prays for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 498A and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and under sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
There is allegation of subjecting the victim to cruelty and harassment for fulfilment of demand of dowry, against the petitioner who happens to be the husband of the victim. Learned counsel for the petitioner, while denying the allegation of subjecting the victim to cruelty and harassment for fulfilment of demand of dowry, submits that the petitioner is still ready to keep her with honour and safety. Petitioner is in custody since 5.1.2022. Investigation is complete.

Informant's counsel submits that the victim is ready to live with the petitioner. Considering the nature of allegation and custody of the petitioner, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. Let the petitioner, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran in Motihari Mufassil Police Station Case No. 578 of 2021.
