JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 10-11-2022 In pursuance to the earlier order of this Court dated 13.10.2022, a counter affidavit has been filed by the District Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari, wherein, in paragraph no. 6, it has been stated that upon inquiry, the land in question has been found to be not a public land and accordingly, the proceedings initiated against the petitioner vide Encroachment case no. 20 of 2019-20 has been dropped and the possession of the petitioner over the land in question is not being interfered with.

In such view of the matter, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievances of the petitioner has stood redressed, hence, the present petition may be disposed off.
