2. This modification has been filed for extending the time for depositing the amount as per the direction given vide order dated 24.07.2024 passed by this Court in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 44336 of 2024.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide order dated 24.07.2024 passed by this Court in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 44336 of 2024, the petitioner was directed to pay Rs. 15,08,035/- at the time of furnishing bail bonds and rest amount shall be paid in six equal monthly installments. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9147 of 2025(2) dt.21-02-2025 2/3 deposited Rs.9,00,000/- on 04.10.2024 and further Rs. 9,00,000/- has been deposited on 09.12.2024. Thereafter, the petitioner has not paid any rest installments. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that due to some financial problem, the petitioner could not arrange the amount due to which he has failed to pay the installment for the month of January & February, 2025. As such, the petitioner has failed to comply the order dated 24.07.2023.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner had to pay Rs. 69,08,735/-, out of which, as per the direction of this Hon'ble Court, the petitioner paid Rs. 15,08,035/- at the time of furnishing the bail bond and till date, the petitioner has paid total a sum of Rs. 33,08,735/-.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner prays to extend the time for depositing the rest amount.

6. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and averments made in the modification application, the prayer is allowed.

7. Time till 30th June, 2025, from today is granted to the petitioner to deposit the rest amount in terms of the order dated 24.07.2024 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 44336 of 2024.

8. The order dated 24.07.2024 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 44336 of 2024 stands modified to the aforesaid extent.

9. If the petitioner fails to deposit the rest amount within the stipulated period as indicated above, his bail bonds shall stand cancelled.

10. The application stands allowed.
