Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a,26,35 of the Arms Act.

A loaded country made pistol and two live cartridges were allegedly recovered from possession of the petitioner. Petitioner has got a long list of criminal cases against him. Petitioner is in custody since 17.05.2020. Investigation of the case is already complete.

Considering the nature of allegation and criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge him on bail for the present in connection with Harnaut P.S.Case No.225 of 2020 pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Biharsharif, Nalanda.

Petitioner would be at liberty to renew the prayer if the trial does not conclude within six months from the date of framing of the charges.

The learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.
