The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied in case he is granted a liberty to file representation before the respondent no.3 and the respondent no.3 may be directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner within a specified time frame.

In view of the aforesaid, it is directed that the petitioner shall file a representation before the respondent no.3 within a period of two weeks from today regarding his grievances pertaining to grant of promotion to the post of District Transport Officer and the respondent no.3 shall dispose of the same within a

Patna High Court CWJC No.1559 of 2017 (2) dt.21-03-2018 2/2 period of four weeks thereafter especially taking into account the fact that those persons similarly situated, even juniors to the petitioner herein, have already been granted promotion to the said post of District Transport Officer and moreover there are ample number of vacant posts.

The writ petition is disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
