The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 379 and 411/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case of theft in the NTPC premises by the accused persons including the petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that the name of the petitioner came into light on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Sonu Kumar and petitioner has no concern with the said co-accused. Learned APP appearing for the State opposed the anticipatory bail.
