JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 04-04-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). To issue a writ(s) mandamus in nature directing the respondents authorities to issue the character certificate a fresh to the petitioner for the purposes of taking contract work so that he may earn his livelihood for himself and his family members.

(ii). Further to issue writ mandamus in nature directing the respondents to reconsider the application of petitioner once again in light of the fact that the petitioner was convicted in a minor offences for which he cannot be debarred from

At the outset, the learned counsel for the parties submit that the present case has been rendered infructuous in view of issuance of the character certificate to the petitioner, as has been stated in paragraph No. 5 of the counter affidavit. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the Respondent authorities in case the petitioner requires a fresh certificate, in view of lapse of considerable time, from the day the earlier certificate was issued to him.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
