The petitioner apprehends his arrest in K. Nagar P.S. Case No.366 of 2018 registered under Sections 306 and 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant (father of deceased) alleged that the petitioner solemnized love marriage with her daughter only 1011 days ago and took the daughter of informant to his own house but the petitioner subjected the daughter of informant to all sorts of torture. Consequently, the daughter of informant left the house of petitioner and came to the house of informant. The petitioner also came to the house informant and brutally assaulted the daughter of informant and immediately thereafter the daughter of informant committed suicide.

No.8421 of 2019(2) dt.13-02-2019 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, of course, the petitioner solemnized love marriage with the daughter of informant but the informant was not happy with such marriage of her daughter with the petitioner and on account of which the informant herself assaulted her daughter compelling her to commit suicide. It is further submitted that the occurrence took place on 26.09.2018 but no complaint was filed on the same day although the F.I.R. was lodged on 28.09.2018. Having considered the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
