====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 12-07-2023 Heard Mr. Arun Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Nawal Kishore Singh, learned AC to GP-26 for the State.

2. As informed by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, it appears that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed.

3. The record reveals that the petitioner was coerced and harassed by different authorities even after realizing the fact that they recovered the amount which was held to be incorrectly financed to some other person was already recovered from the said person and the petitioner has been penalized by

Patna High Court CWJC No.2347 of 2023 dt.12-07-2023 2/2 recovering from his account. The payments have been made to the petitioner after a long delay while the recovery was made in the year 2019. Petitioner is entitled to be compensated proportionately along with applicable rate of interest accrued on total amount of Rs. 4,73,411/- till the date of payment. 4.

Petitioner, if so advised, may file a representation before the concerned authority or avail appropriate remedy for seeking compensation on account of mental, physical and financial harassment.

5. The writ application, accordingly, stands disposed of.
