The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offence punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)a and 26 of the Arms Act. A loaded country made pistol was recovered from possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 13.07.2020. Petitioner has got a long list of criminal antecedent. Considering the nature of allegation and criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail for the present in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 389 of 2020.

Hence, prayer is refused.

If the trial would not conclude within six months from the date of framing of the charges, the petitioner would be at

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19178 of 2021(3) dt.26-10-2021 2/2 liberty to renew the prayer before the court below itself. Learned trial Judge is directed to expedite the trial. (Birendra Kumar, J) mantreshwar/- U T
