====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 29-03-2023 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 399 and 402 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25 (1-b) A, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act and Sections 20, 22, 25 and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act. The learned counsel for the petitioner draws the attention of the Court to the order dated 23.05.2022 in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 863 of 2022. It is next submitted that the order dated 23.05.2022 with clarity records that as to how the petitioner was implicated and being a person with clean antecedent came to be implicated in four more cases subsequently which were instituted against unknown.

No.14068 of 2023(2) dt.29-03-2023 2/2 On query of the Court as to whether the charges have been framed against the petitioner or not, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that charges have not been framed. The Court, as such, is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, the present bail application stands rejected.

However, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge.
