The instant application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Tekari P.S. Case No. 207 of 2022 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 07.08.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 33234 of 2023 with an observation to learned trial court to conclude the trial expeditiously. In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a report with regard to present stage of trial dated 6th of March, 2024
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10711 of 2024(3) dt.20-03-2024 2/2 has been received and the same is kept at flag 'R'. From its perusal it appears that the case is fix for adducing the prosecution witness.
No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail of the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for grant of regular bail is rejected.
Accordingly, petition stands disposed off.
However, learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of 9 months, failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer of bail. (Sunil Kumar Panwar, J) Nirajkrs/- U T
