The petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 304(B)/ 34 of the I.P.C. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are in custody since 23.11.2021, they are persons with clean antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in this case. The petitioner nos.1 and 2 are father-in-law and mother-in-law of the deceased and petitioner nos.3 and 4 are neighbours of the deceased.
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9169 of 2022(2) dt.16-06-2022 2/3 It is next alleged that the allegation in the F.I.R. is that Runiya Devi @ Runa Devi, the sister-in-law of the deceased was having affair with two men i.e. petitioner nos.3 and 4, which was being objected by the deceased on account of which, the present occurrence took place in which the mother-in-law, father-in-law, the neighbour Runiya Devi and Lalita Devi connived and killed her.
The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that it absolutely does not stand to reason that as to why the father-inlaw and mother-in-law would have killed the deceased. Learned A.P.P. opposes the bail application.
