JUSTICE PARTHA SARTHY ORAL ORDER 11-05-2026 The petitioners have filed the instant application for the following relief (s) :- "1. (i) For issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of that part of clause-2 (v) of advertisement no. 02/2022 published by the Bihar Technical Service Commission for the post of Touring Veterinary Medical Officer and equivalent posts whereby the age relaxation of 09 years has been extended to the persons working on contract basis on the post of Touring Veterinary Medical Officer and equivalent posts and not to the petitioners, who are having the qualification for the post, but

(ii) For holding that it is arbitrary and discriminatory on the part of the respondent authorities to limit the benefit of age relaxation under clause-2 (v) of the advertisement only to the persons working on contract basis on the post of Touring Veterinary Medical Officer and not to other contractual employees working on different posts on the basis of the same qualification. (iii) For necessary direction upon the respondent authorities to grant age relaxation upto 09 years to the petitioners in terms of clause2 (v) of the advertisement as the petitioner no.1 has worked on contract basis on the post of Block Technical Manager, Munger till January, 2018 and thereupon he is working on regular basis as Agriculture Coordinator and petitioner no.2 is continuously working on contract basis as Block Technical Manager, Warsaliganj, Nawada since 2015 and both of them are having the qualification of B.V. sc. and A.Η.

(iv) For staying the selection process pursuant to the advertisement no. 02/2022 for the post of Touring Veterinary Medical Officer and equivalent posts during the pendency of this writ application.

(v) For any other direction, which your Lordships may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission
