JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 07-02-2019 Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner admits that in compliance of the direction issued by the Writ Court petitioner has been granted promotion but he has not been paid consequential monetary benefits.

Considering the fact that promotion has already been granted to the petitioner in compliance of the direction issued by the Writ Court, the present proceeding is dropped. It goes without saying that if the petitioner has been granted promotion then in the absence of payment of consequential monetary benefits the promotion is illusionary,

In case payment is not made to the petitioner within the time as indicated hereinabove, liberty shall be available to the petitioner to file revival of the present proceeding.

With the aforesaid the present application stands disposed of.
