The petitioner has prayed for the grant of following reliefs:- "That this writ application is being filed for issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions preferably in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the Respondents concerned to pay the revised pay scale w.e.f. 01.01.1986 and also 01.01.1996 under A.C.P. as per rule and in order to compliance

Patna High Court CWJC No.16667 of 2017(3) dt.27-11-2025 2/2 of the direction passed by concerned Respondents and make payment of the arrears and revise the pension accordingly.

And/or any other relief or reliefs for which the petitioner is found entitled to in the facts and circumstances of this case."

While the learned counsel for the petitioner was advancing argument on the merits of the matter, learned counsel for the Respondent-State draws the attention of this Court to Letter No. 1707 dated 13.06.2016 (Annexure-A to the counteraffidavit) by which the District Programme Officer, (Establishment) Katihar has passed an order making it clear that no further amount is payable to the petitioner. This order has never been challenged by the petitioner. Without challenging this order by which it has already been held that no further amount is payable to the petitioner, the present writ application filed by the petitioner is totally misconceived and, therefore, it is accordingly dismissed.
