JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 27-02-2020 Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No. 398 of 2019, registered for the offence punishable under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code. As per prosecution case, while informant was returning from Patna and reached at Harkhua Railway crossing six miscreants intercepted him and on the point of weapon snatched Rs.1300/- and two mobile phones from him. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has not been named in FIR and later on his name transpired in the confessional statement of co-accused and he has been remanded from another case and he is in custody for four months and charge sheet has been submitted and in spite of that he has not been put on T.I. parade.

In view of above facts and circumstances, let petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj, in connection with Gopalganj Town P.S. Case No. 398 of 2019.
