3. The present petition has been filed for the grant of following relief(s):

"for issuing a direction to the respondents specially to the respondents no. 2 raised a demand and granted rent receipt in favour of the petitioners in respect of the land which are part and partial of revision case no. 501, 502 and 503 of 1993, which was decided in favour of petitioner on 05.08.1993."

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that it will suffice if their case is considered by the newly added respondent, the Collector, Gaya. He undertakes that the petitioner shall be approaching the concerned office in next four weeks.

5. The matter is of the year 2017 and as usual, there is no counter affidavit of the State, keeping it pending allowing the State to take another six months to file counter affidavit will serve no purpose.

6. In that background, the petitioners are allowed to approach the newly added respondent, the Collector, Gaya within four weeks from today and if any such petition is filed, the same shall be taken to its logical conclusion preferably within a period of six months from the date the petition is preferred.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of.
