The petitioner has been arrested in connection with Akbarpur P.S. Case No. 51 of 2014 registered under Section 420 of Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that the petitioner being Vikas Mitra, namely, Shobha Choudhary was collected Rs. 3000/- illegally from the beneficiaries of Indira Awas Yogana. It is further alleged that Sona Devi and Rinku Devi have refused to pay the amount. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner happens to be husband of the Shobha Choudhary, Vikas Mitra and she has been granted bail by the court below. The petitioner is in jail custody since 03.09.2014.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nawada, in connection with Akbarpur P.S. Case No. 51 of 2014.
