1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) For issuance of Writ/Writs Order/Orders Direction/Directions in the nature of certiorari for quashing the Demand Notice dated 2.8.2023 issued by National Lok Adalat, District Legal Service Authority, Udakishunganj, District Madhepura, on the basis of complaint filed by, Uttar Bihar, Grameen Bank Head Office, Sharma Complex, Kalambagh Chowk, Muzaffarpur, Branch Office Puraini Bazar District Madhepura, whereby and where under directed the petitioner to appear in National Lok Adalat

Patna High Court CWJC No.4125 of 2024(2) dt.13-05-2024 2/3 Udakishunganj, District Madhepura, on9.9.2023 for settle the matter on the total due amount Rs-2,02,085.78/- in account no.- 1007361310000885 Which is running in the name of present petitioner.

(ii) For further prayed for quashing the Demand Notice issued by the Branch Manager, Branch Office Puraini Bazar District Madhepura, through the Uttar Bihar Garmin Bank Head Office, Sharma Complex, Kalambagh Chowk, Muzaffarpur in which the Demand Notice of amount Rs-89,754/- interest of the principal amount and directed the petitioner to deposit the said amount till 15.7.2023 failing which the necessary action shall be taken against the petitioner.

(iii) For further prayed for direction upon the respondents particular the Branch Manager, Branch Office, Purani Bazar, Uttar Bihar, Grameen Bank District, Madhepura, so that to drop the proceeding of loan account no.- 1007361310000885 and close the account of the petitioner and also directed the respondent to issue the NOC in favour of the petitioner because the petitioner has already deposited the entire principal amount 50,000 in Uttar ₹ Bihar Garmin Bank, Purani Bazar district Madhepura, before issue the Demand Notice but the remaining amount are the interest amount in which demand notice was issued by

(iv) For further prayed during the pendency of the writ Petition may kindly stay the further proceeding of this case and also state the Demand Notice as well as the later no.-202324/4case/89754 dated- 2.8.2023 Issued by National Lok Adalat Legal Service Authority, Udakishunganj District Madhepura."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
