JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 03-03-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, State and the Vigilance.
The petitioner is an accused in a case under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468 and 471/120B of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 7, 8, 9 and 10 of the Prevention of Corruption Act. The allegation is that the petitioner collects brokerage from the beneficiaries after facilitating sanction of their loan. The petitioner denies the allegation and submits that he is a social activist and helps the beneficiaries, who come under APL/BPL category. The petitioner is in custody since 17.07.2014 and does not have criminal antecedent.
Counsel for the Vigilance submits that seizure list suggest that the petitioner takes brokerage from the beneficiaries.

No.47444 of 2014 (2) dt.03-03-2015 2 / 2 In the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge, Vigilance-II, Patna in connection with Special Case No. 49 of 2014 (Sheikhpura P.S. case no. 266 of 2014).
The trial of the case would be expedited.
