The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Amnaur P. S. Case No. 25 of 2017 dated 16.02.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 308, 498(A) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioners are the relatives of the husband of the informant who, though, have been made accused in this case with allegation of assault and torturing the informant
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9647 of 2019(2) dt.19-02-2019 2/3 but such allegations are general and omnibus in nature. It has also been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they are very desirous that the matrimonial dispute between the informant and her husband is settled and that they shall make every efforts for bringing about a rapprochement between the spouses. However, so far as they are concerned individually, they are leading different vocations in life and would not have any kind of control over the husband of the informant except for their advisory and pursuance role.
Considering the relationship of the petitioners vis a vis the informant and the nature of accusation against them along with their undertaking that they shall make serious efforts to bring about rapprochement between the spouses, the petitioners, above-named, are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to
