The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 387 of 2020 instituted for the offence under Sections 143, 323, 307, 427 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation against the petitioners is general and omnibus. They are said to have assaulted the informant and one Chandan Kumar, both of whom appear to have

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they have been made accused in this case because of a Complaint Case No. 2073 of 2020 having been lodged against the informant by the wife of petitioner no. 5. The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that there is a dispute between the two families and the petitioners are agnates of the informant. The accusation against petitioners of having damaged the vehicle and of taking away valuable belongings is overtly exaggerated.

The petitioners are persons of clean antecedents. Considering the afore-noted submissions, the petitioners, above named, are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-IX, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 387 of
