Mr. N.K. Agarwal, learned Senior Advocate appearing for the petitioners in C.W.J.C. Nos.13818 of 2016, 13841 of 2016, 14092 of 2016 and 14385 of 2016 has submitted that vide order dated 23.08.2016, this Court had stayed the letter dated 06.08.2016,

5/5 whereby and where-under the advertisement was published for appointment of fresh contractor. Now, learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the matters are pending since long, it will be in the interest of justice the order of stay should be vacated and let there should be a fresh consideration of selection and whoever will be selected should be employed by the authority. The submission of learned counsel for the petitioners is completely innocuous. Hence, the order of stay is vacated. Let the authority should proceed with the matter for selection of the fresh contractor.

In such view of the matter, there is no need to go into the merit of the case, whoever is found to be suitable will be employed by the authority for transportation. This Court hopes and trusts that the authority will complete the entire process within a period of six weeks from today.
