The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Special Case No. 1644/2019 arising out of Sadar Circle Excise Case No. 60/2019 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) and 32(3) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. A vehicle was intercepted from where approximately 190 litres of liquor were recovered. The

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he had given the vehicle to be driven on commercial basis to one Md. Hashim with a clear instruction that he would not commit any wrong act and would not transport any illegal substance. However, the driver has played truant and because of that the petitioner is facing prosecution in this case. Considering the aforesaid aspect of the matter and taking into account his clean antecedent, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 02nd Additional Sessions Judge -cum- Special Judge, Araria, in connection with Special Case No. 1644/2019 arising out of Sadar Circle Excise Case No.
