Petitioners apprehend their arrest in Barachatti P.S. Case No.399 of 2020 registered under Section 307 and other minor sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have committed no offence and have falsely been implicated in this case due to village politics. It is further submitted that the petitioners were not apprehended on the spot and nothing has been recovered from their possession. The petitioners have got no criminal antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail by contending that there is a direct allegation against the

No.19826 of 2021(5) dt.10-03-2022 2/2 petitioners that the petitioners caused head injury to the son of the informant by assaulting him from the butt of the firearms which is corroborated by the injury report. Therefore, the petitioners do not deserve anticipatory bail. Having considered the facts aforesaid, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on anticipatory bail.
