The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Triveniganj P.S. Case No.341 of 2024 registered for the offence under sections 309(6) of the B.N.S., 2023.

The petitioner is accused of committing loot. Materials have come during the investigation to connect the petitioner with the crime. Apart from the above, the looted money has been recovered from the petitioner. He is in custody since 08.09.2024.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the money recovered from the petitioner belongs to the petitioner.

Considering the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected.
