2 The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Complaint Case No 343 of 2023 instituted under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

3 There is allegation against the petitioner of torture for demand of dowry.

4 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is husband of Opposite Party No 2. They agree to settle the dispute outside the Court and the petitioner is ready to keep Opposite Party No 2 with full dignity and honour. Opposite Party No 2 is ready to live with the petitioner along with their son.

6 Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner shall be released on provisional bail for a period of six weeks on his furnishing bonds of Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in Complaint Case No 343 of 2023 subject to the conditions as laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

7 The learned Trial Court is directed to facilitate the return of the wife of the petitioner to her husband house. It is also directed that on 04.07.2024, the wife of the petitioner would be present in the Trial Court from where she will go along with her husband in presence of the Presiding Officer of the concerned Court.

9 The application stands allowed.
