2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Laheri P.S. Case No. 517 of 2024 registered for the offence under Section 140(2) of BNS, 2023.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of kidnapping and asking for ransom from the victim. The mobile phone of the victim has been recovered from the petitioner and the petitioner is also named in the self-inculpatory statement of the co-accused also.

4. The petitioner is in jail since 19.10.2024.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
