The petitioner seeks bail in Bakhtiyarpur P.S. Case No.18 of 2014 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 326, 307 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 27 of the Arms Act.

There is allegation that certain accused persons have resorted firing upon the victim which caused injury to him. During investigation it also transpires that petitioner was also involved in the alleged offence.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly the prayer for bail is rejected. However, the petitioner will be at

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.48858 of 2014 (2) dt.20-02-2015 liberty to renew his prayer for bail after completion of one year in jail custody.
