The present writ application has been filed by the petitioner for a direction to the respondents to consider grant of exgratia to the petitioner in terms of the policy decision of the State Government dated 29.02.2016 whereby the Government has taken decision to grant ex-gratia on account of death in harness of Aanganwari Sewika.
3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that till date the respondents have not decided the claim of the petitioner for grant of ex-gratia, as the wife of the petitioner, who was serving as Anganwari Sevika on selection in 1999
Patna High Court CWJC No.10265 of 2018 dt.03-10-2018 2/2 died during her service on 05.06.2017.

Considering the aforesaid, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the District Programme Officer, Nawada to take final decision in the matter of grant of ex-gratia in terms of the policy decision of the State Government dated 29.02.2016, if not already decided, appropriately at the earliest preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. Thereafter all the concerned authorities will take further decision so that the claim of the petitioner for ex-gratia may be finally decided in accordance with the policy decision within a further period of three months.
