Petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Ramkrishna Nagar P.S. Case No. 520 of 2018 for the offence under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

In the instant case approx. 40 liters of foreign and country made liquor was seized.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that recovery was made from the open space where the aforesaid liquor was kept and nothing was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid, the Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner, named

No.6984 of 2020(3) dt.09-07-2020 2/2 above, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna, in connection with Ramkrishna Nagar P.S.
