The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 504, 307 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has antecedent of six cases but then five of those cases are more than 30 years old and one case was instituted in the year 2018. It is next submitted that occurrence took place on account of dispute between children while playing cricket, it is further submitted that against this petitioner it is alleged that he assaulted Abdul Majid with an iron rod causing injury on his head.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no

No.13343 of 2023(2) dt.23-05-2023 2/2 doubt allegation against the petitioner is of assaulting Abdul Majid on the head by an iron rod which is vital part of the body but then the blow was not repeated and the injury is simple in nature, it is also submitted that the occurrence took place on account of dispute when children were playing cricket. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Koran Sarai P.S. Case No. 114 of 2020 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
